NORTH BROOKFIELD — Parks committee approves MVP grant for pergola improvements. The Parks and Recreation Committee approved a grant designated for pergola-area work including asphalt removal, new benches, pollinator gardens, grass, and trees. The committee reviewed upcoming events: NB Soccer's season through November, the Mike Pecha Cancer Benefit on September 19, and Jamie's Superchargers concert on August 29.
Other approved projects include pond pathway smoothing with a new fishing and skating platform and the addition of basketball courts to the Capital Improvement Project list.
