Downtown Development Committee plans February meeting, advances business partnerships

NORTH BROOKFIELD — Downtown Development Committee discusses business partnerships and growth opportunities. The committee, with five members present, heard updates on the North Brookfield Business Coalition's December 11 gathering, where businesses expressed interest in hosting future meetings. Sue Lewandowski reported on the Heart & Soul launch with the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and noted that Vibram representative Jacob Kelly expressed interest in community projects including rail trail maintenance and landscaping.

Committee members plan to meet with new Town Administrator Ron Aponte regarding Complete Streets and Shared Streets initiatives.
