Council on Aging hires assistant, schedules summer programs

North Brookfield Council on Aging approves Program Assistant hire and intergenerational summer program. The council approved Mary Cormier as Program Assistant starting at the end of May, working three days per week, Director Courtenay Rivera reported. A summer intergenerational program beginning the week of July 15 will offer events every other Wednesday, funded by the Friends of NBCOA except the first event.

The council also approved a grant of up to 5,000 dollars for a new commercial kitchen refrigerator and plans a new foot clinic for out-of-town seniors.
