Conservation Commission continues review of East Brookfield Road project
Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 10, 2026
North Brookfield Conservation Commission continues its hearing on East Brookfield Road project. Chair Christine Morrison and the commission on March 10 deferred its public hearing on a proposed single-family dwelling at 56 Old East Brookfield Road to April 14, with engineer Christopher Hannigan presenting plans for a driveway and two wetland crossings featuring an open box culvert and arch culvert system. Erosion controls and vegetation replication are planned, with construction barriers required to remain for approximately two years until paving and plantings are established.
First- and second-year inspections will be conditioned to ensure proper growth, and work is scheduled to begin in July 2026.
