Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 28, 2026

NORTH BROOKFIELD — Conservation Commission approves Shore Road driveway, schedules May solar hearing. Chair Christine Morrison, Co-Chair John Turner, and Commissioners Brandon Avery and Erin Lynch approved resource delineation analysis with conditions for Phil Hayes' 23 Shore Road driveway restoration project on April 28. The Commission received an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation for a proposed solar facility at 91 Oakham Road and tentatively scheduled a public hearing for May.

The owners of 18-20 Old West Brookfield Road were advised that their lot, located within a priority habitat area, cannot be cleared, and the shed may require a Massachusetts Environmental Site Assessment review.
