Board advances Mad Brook Bridge project with state backing

North Brookfield Selectmen advance bridge project with state backing. The Board of Selectmen authorized town officials to pursue right-of-way agreements for the Mad Brook Bridge project after Massachusetts approved $1.875 million in construction funding under the Small Bridge Program. Chair Jamie Gilman thanked Highway Superintendent Kim Kort for advancing the project, which board member Peter Orsi noted remains under budget.
The board also approved $3,254.77 in Fire Department reserves for Engine 2 repairs and a $13,563.34 change order for facility upgrades.
